Professional Real Estate Photography is always receiving top ratings in virtually every online list on the best way to make money as a professional photographer. The real estate business is exploding, and consequently, the demand for professional real estate photography has also gone up. The purpose of real estate photography is not to sell houses to people, but it's to show the prospective buyer how beautiful and unique the home would be to them.
By way of example, one of my favorite clients is the San Francisco Giants baseball team. Their season ticket holders want to have professional real estate photographs of their favourite players, so they ask me to take the photographs together during home games. I have a great deal of fun doing this, but my primary focus is taking the identical lens on every different photograph, so that everything looks uniform. If I were to take the same lens on all of the different photographs, it would look unnatural.
When people come to real estate professional photographers, they want a cohesive photograph package. My basic job is to suggest a model, and show the client how to use their light. Most professional real estate photographers already use some sort of lighting set up to light their clientele. It's just something that makes their photos more professional looking and visually attractive. I usually won't do the light myself unless the client requests it. I think it's important because it shows professionalism.
There are quite a few other facets of professional real estate photography that I'm not going to touch on here. I can talk broadly about white backgrounds, black backgrounds, and lens choices. However, what I'd like to share with you today is the reason why people decide to use a real estate professional photographers to get their real estate photographs taken.
There are many advantages to using photographers to take your house buyer's images for you. First of all, most photographers will charge you only a flat rate fee for the whole photography shoot (not per picture) even if you hire them for a number of diverse visits. Another great benefit to hiring professionals to photograph your home buyers is they already know precisely how to approach each person in your photo shoot, so you will not have to waste time trying to figure out how to pose or how to hold someone perfectly.
The last reason that people choose to have their home photos taken by professionals is because the results speak for themselves. You really can see what a excellent job the photographer did just by looking at the photos. When you're trying to promote your home with real estate photos, selecting a great real estate photographer is definitely the way to go.
